People often ask us what the difference is between these two types of door.
A Shaker door comes in two distinct styles – a five piece wooden, or a single-piece vinyl panel. A Slab door is simply a flat door which can be a simple vinyl press, a lacquered or painted door, or a foil-laminated style.
Both door types are available in a range of colours – either standard, or painted to order. You will see painted to order usually abbreviated to PTO, which is how we indicate the option on our gallery pages.
